A Home Health Aide, also known as a Personal Care Aide, is a professional caregiver responsible for assisting patients in maintaining their health and hygiene at home. Their responsibilities include grocery shopping, meal preparation, grooming, and handling basic tasks such as paying bills and scheduling appointments.
They receive training to assist elderly, convalescent, or disabled individuals. Home Health Aides are in high demand from licensed home care and hospice agencies to provide primary nursing care in private homes, health facilities, or hospice programs under the supervision of Registered Nurses.
