ECG/EKG Technician (CET) & Telemetry

 Summary

• Theory (Classroom): 84 hours  
• Clinical Rotation (Practicum): 70 hours  
• Total Program Hours: 154 hours

Total Duration: The program lasts 5 weeks, with classes held 4 days a week for 8 hours each day (Mon-Thurs), 19 days, totaling 154 hours, including clinical.

                            The program lasts 10 weeks, with classes held 4 days a week for 4 hours each day (Mon-Thurs), 39 days, totaling 154 hours, including clinical.

                            The program lasts 10 weeks, with classes held 2 days a week for 8 hours each day (Sat-Sun), 20 days, totaling 154 hours, including clinical.

BEFORE THE CLASS

• High School Diploma or GED (optional)
• ID/Passport
• SSC
• Livescan/Fingerprint
• AHA CPR/BLS- Basic Life Support
• Physical Exam (current)
• TB test (current)
• X-ray (copy required if tested positive)
• Vaccination Shots (must be fully vaccinated)
• State exam fee
• A down payment of $400 is required for enrollment. The down payment goes towards the total cost of the course.

The Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) examination is for professionals who utilize specialized monitoring equipment to analyze cardiac rhythms.

2) Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT)

The Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) examination is for professionals working in the areas of ECG, Holter monitoring, and stress testing. This computer-based exam is administered at Pearson Professional Centers year-round, based on availability at the test centers.

 3) Stress Testing

Stress testing for ECG (also known as an Exercise Stress Test or Treadmill Test) is a diagnostic procedure used to evaluate how the heart responds to physical exertion. It's primarily used to detect coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and assess overall cardiac function under stress.
